Virtual Medical Assistant

Duties and responsibilities

Appointment setting — scheduling, managing cancelations, and sending reminders to patients.
Calendar management — creating a schedule that includes appointments with patients as well as other commitments, such as meetings and events.
Organizing files in your database.
Medical billing and coding.
Follow-ups and checking on patients after appointments.
Email management — responding to messages and cleaning your inbox.
Transferring physical forms into a digital format.
Take your client's incoming and outgoing calls and transfer urgent calls to them.

Any Medical Bachelor’s degree (Provide diploma)
At least 1 year of work experience of being a Virtual Assistant/Call Center Agent is preferred.
Must have adequate knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, medications and laboratory values.
Must be knowledgeable of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet.

Capacity to follow complex instructions
HIPAA Certification is a plus!
